Ahmedu “Black face” obiabo and innocent “2Baba” idibia who were members of the now defunct music band “plantashun boiz” have finally settled their long standing court battle over copyright infringement and intellectual property theft, this comes after both parties agreed to an out of court settlement facilitated by a mediator in lagos on wednesday an arrangement which has seen Blackface tender an apology letter to 2baba.
A copy of the letter as obtained by PREMIUM TIMES which would be made public by the singer on social media today read: “Having consulted with my Solicitors, I do hereby revoke all allegations of intellectual property theft and career sabotage previously made against Mr. Innocent Idibia and Mr. Efe Omorogbe

“These statements were erroneously made under misapprehension as to their accuracy, due to prevailing circumstances at the time. I have been advised on the inaccuracy of my previous allegations and retract them entirely.
“I undertake to refrain from making any such subsequent statements against the persons of Mr. Innocent Idibia and Mr. Efe Omorogbe in future”.
The mediation process which was overseen by Ronke Kuku(The mediator) was witnessed by 2baba’s manager, Efe Omorogbe, and Black Face’s lawyer, Manny Enajeroh, at the Ikeja high court Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre in Lagos on Wednesday. This development has been confirmed by 2Baba’s management and Black face’s solicitor.
